The Military Coupon Project

Diana Callahan has recently shipped the fifth package of shopping coupons to Military bases in other countries in the name of Unit 29. Each shipment is ten pounds of hand trimmed coupons . The coupons are collected from Unit members and friends, trimmed by Diana, and packaged in gallon zip lock packages . This shipment makes the total so far of 50 pounds. Each shipment costs $14.95 at the post office and is Diana's donation to the troops. Not being one to pat herself on the back I thought that I needed to step in and notify the membership of her efforts. I have witnessed her sitting for hours at a time cutting out coupons. She is not aware that I am putting this on the web page.

This shipment was sent to Mannheim, Germany.

The Auxiliary Dutch Treat Banquet 2010 was held on June 3, 2010 at Golden China Restaurant in Abbeville. Ten Legionnaires were treated to a fine meal by the ladies.
